Foundation Level

This course is suitable for you if you want to expand your Welsh, and also if you can:

• Understand and use simple everyday phrases, provided the other person is willing to speak slowly, repeat or paraphrase things.
• Ask and answer questions about basic information, e.g., weather, feelings and wishes, likes and dislikes, permissions, numbers, where things are (e.g., toys), colours and shapes, the time, things that have happened in the past, things that will happen in the future, things that must be done;
• Give some simple, direct orders that apply to childcare settings.
