The Clebran scheme provides Welsh language support for English-medium playgroups and nurseries who are not members of Mudiad Meithrin.
Clebran Officers will present one online workshop on a specific theme (e.g Time Weather and the Seasons, My Day, Play Time) every half term, with a choice of afternoon or evening sessions. The settings who attend are then provided with a digital interactive workbook, containing the Welsh language patterns, acitivity ideas and Welsh songs presented in the online workshop.
Staff are invited to a 1-1 online session with their Clebran Officer between workshops, to receive further support or discuss any challenges they may be having rolling out the content of the workshops.
In person support visits are also undertaken by the Clebran Officer on a termly basis (where hours allow), to model language patterns and activities, and assess the settings’ progress.
