A number of day nurseries offering a childcare service through the medium of Welsh are members of Mudiad Meithrin. Most of them are private businesses that follow our policies.
As an organisation we also manage 3 day nurseries ourselves, which are part of the Mudiad’s subsidiary called Meithrinfeydd Cymru Cyf (MCC). MCC aims to provide full day care and high quality early years education through the medium of Welsh. The service is available for children from six weeks of age up to school age.
All three nurseries provide warm and nutritious food for the children, and all 3 accept various childcare vouchers including the Welsh Government’s Childcare funding scheme.
