Introduction to Responsive Planning

Suitable for: Cylchoedd Meithrin and Day Nurseries staff

An introduction to responsive planning which aligns with the curriculum for funded non-maintained nursery settings. These sessions will introduce the principle of following children’s interests and how to plan effectively and confidently.

During the sessions you will learn how:

• To begin to plan effectively.
• The curriculum document in, its entirety will support your planning.
• To use the planning cycle effectively.

By the end of the sessions you will:

• Plan according to each child’s individual needs.
• Develop confidence in the planning process.
• Plan according to the 3 enablers in a responsive way.

*Everyone that registers will need to attend both sessions on the following dates:

11 October and 15 November    6.30-8pm

These sessions will be delivered in Welsh* with simultaneous translation.
