Nature Notes 2 – a musical tour around the world!

Following the success of the resource Nodau Natur (Nature Notes), the opportunity has come for us to leave for another exciting tour around the world through the amazing world of nursery rhymes! Welcome to Nodau Natur 2!

Come and visit China, to hear the Mandarin language and to meet the two strange tigers- one without ears and the other without a tail!

An opportunity to listen to the mesmerising Pashto language from Afghanistan. You will be charmed by the song Allaho that allows us to open the door to a very different culture. Come and learn about the zango, that helps sooth the baby to sleep.

Making use of the resource will allow children to listen and learn about a range of rhymes and songs from other languages too such as Kurdish, Spanish, Italian and Somali alongside traditional Welsh rhymes!

Join us for another exciting journey around the world through the land of rhymes! Be prepared to listen to magical worldwide rhymes and discuss methods of how these can be introduced to young children through craft and sensory experiences.

After completing this session, you will have:

• An awareness of the new resource ‘Nodau Natur 2’/Nature Notes 2
• An increased awareness of the significance of nursery rhymes in supporting child development
• An awareness of the importance of celebrating diversity and the wealth of the cultures that surround us

This session will be delivered through the medium of Welsh with simultaneous translation available.
