Bequest for Mudiad Meithrin by the late Dr Robin Okey

As an organisation passionate about giving every child in Wales the best start we are very grateful for every gift and legacy we receive as every contribution makes a difference to our work on the ground. Mudiad Meithrin recently received a bequest from the late Dr Robin Okey and a special celebration to remember him was held at the Scarman Conference Centre, University of Warwick over the weekend. A representation from Mudiad Meithrin and RhAG was invited to be part of the event. Memories of him were shared by his neighbours and colleagues ending the day with a discussion about his work and his legacy to the academic field of History and especially his excellent last volume which compares Wales with Slovenia, which was so close to his heart. We are grateful for his life work and the legacy he leaves.
