As an organisation passionate about delivering Welsh-medium education to the children of Wales, Mudiad Meithrin is delighted to see that Cylch Meithrin Llanilltud Fawr (Llantwit Major) has been given a new home.
On Thursday, 9 June there was a lovely official opening for a new cabin that accomodates Cylch Meithrin Llanilltud Fawr in the Vale of Glamorgan. The Cylch Meithrin is open daily from 8am to 12.45, and from 1.15 – 5.00 offering wrap around care with Ysgol Gymraeg Dewi Sant in Llantwit Major.
Dr Gwenllian Lansdown Davies, Chief Executive of Mudiad Meithrin, said:
“The future of the Welsh language depends on a national network of Cylchoedd Meithrin providing childcare and early years education that is appealing to families. It is therefore pleasing to see the new home of Cylch Meithrin Llanillltud Fawr which is a testament to the hard work and partnership between the Cylch’s committee and staff, the Welsh Government and the Local Authority. I thank Deputy Minister Julie Morgan MP for attending the official opening with the leader of the Council, Councillor Lis Burnett”.
