Mudiad Meithrin is delighted to announce that it will be hosting the World’s Biggest Ti a Fi during the Eisteddfod yr Urdd Dur a Môr, Margam Park 2025 – a special celebration for young children and their families from within and beyond the Mudiad’s community.

The event will take place at 11am on Saturday, 31 May, in the ‘Adlen’ on the Eisteddfod yr Urdd Maes. A warm welcome is extended to everyone who is part of the Mudiad Meithrin community, or who has been in the past, to come along and enjoy the fun.

Heather Davies-Rollinson, Mudadi Meithrin’s Mid and West Wales Regional Manager said:

“This is an exciting event for Mudiad Meithrin this year. We are looking forward to welcoming children and their families to the World’s Biggest Ti a Fi session on the Eisteddfod Maes, where there will be all kinds of activities, stories, and singing, and of course, a chance to meet and have a photo with Dewin!

Siani Sionc will open the event with a lively performance of fun and familiar songs. Then, Llio Maddocks, Artistic Director of the Urdd, will enchant the audience by reading a Dewin a Doti story. Also, local staff will sing a number of songs with Dewin at the end of the session.”

There will also be a range of children’s activities including:

  • Creative crafts
  • Parachute games
  • Snack time for the little ones

Leanne Marsh, Mudiad Meithrin’s Head of Services Development added:

“This is a great opportunity for young children and their families to come together to enjoy playing and socialising in a Welsh atmosphere. You don’t have to speak Welsh yourself to join us – the World’s Biggest Ti a Fi welcomes every family and is a chance to celebrate the young children of Wales and their right to learn and speak Welsh.”

This is a wonderful opportunity for families to come together and celebrate the Welsh language through fun, music and age-appropriate activities – come and join us!
