Good news for Dewin and Doti’s little friends! Mudiad Meithrin is very proud to announce that Mia Morgan will be starring alongside Dewin and Doti as part of the Gŵyl Dewin and Doti Festival Tour, which will be travelling across Wales from 6 June to 1 July 2025.
‘Where’s Doti?’ is the title of this year’s show, written by Anwen Carlisle, who is Mia’s mother. During the performance, the popular children’s entertainer Siani Sionc will help Mia through ‘Facetime’ calls to try and find the missing Doti. The show is full of fun songs and plenty of adventure.
Mia is a recently graduated actress with a BA in Performance and has also studied for an MA in Acting. She has extensive experience in performing, singing and dancing since childhood, and is currently teaching drama to children at ABC Cardiff and ABC y Fro, where she loves working with the children. She has just finished a production of ‘Y Naid/Jump’ with Theatr na nÓg, and she’s very excited to meet Dewin and Doti’s young friends while touring and performing the Where’s Doti? show across Wales.

“I’m really looking forward to travelling around Wales in search of Doti while presenting the Ble Mae Doti? (Where’s Doti?) show on this year’s Dewin and Doti Festival Tour!”
Siani Sionc will also be part of the show Ble Mae Doti? helping Mia to search for Doti in various locations across Wales via a Facetime connection shown on a large screen.

“I’m really excited to be part of this year’s Ble Mae Doti? show – even though I won’t be travelling with the tour, I’ll be there on screen in every show, so I’m looking forward to seeing how the children respond!”
Nerys Fychan, Mudiad Meithrin’s Communications and Marketing Manager, said:
“The Dewin and Doti Festival is now an important part of the Cylch Meithrin events calendar and a fantastic way to bring the Welsh language to life – especially for families where Welsh isn’t spoken at home. For the first time ever, the songs featured in the show will be available on Spotify, so children and their families can become familiar with them beforehand and continue to enjoy them after attending the show. We’re very proud to be back on tour across Wales.”
The show will be performed all over Wales, visiting Wrexham, Denbigh, Caernarfon, Llangefni, Aberdyfi, Felinfach, Carmarthen, Merthyr Tydfil, Barry, Llys y Frân, and Porthmadog, with the first performance taking place on 6 June at Garth Olwg Community Centre in Church Village near Pontypridd. Thousands of families are expected to attend and enjoy the entertainment during the tour.
